Back by popular demand and due to the vital need to prevent cyber intrusions, FBI Buffalo is hosting a second series of FBI Buffalo Cyber Workshops: Low-tech explanations of high-tech threats in collaboration with the Better Business Bureau of Upstate New York. These webinars are geared toward empowering you – and your workplaces – with awareness about online scams, cyber intrusions and preventable pitfalls. Descriptions and registration-limitations are below.

Technical term: Cryptocurrency Case Study 

Ready to jump into cryptocurrency? So are some opportunistic criminals who want your money. Hear a brief overview of cryptocurrency from an investigator’s perspective, plus details from a local case in which someone lost millions of dollars.   

Who May Register? These cyber workshops are limited to Buffalo and Rochester InfraGard members, FBI Buffalo Citizens Academy graduates, businesses associated with the Better Business Bureau of Upstate NY and/or Chambers of Commerce within WNY, and additional limited groups.

Deadlines to Register: Registration for each workshop will expire at 12 p.m. two days before each even
