CHERYL KROUSE OF LEWISTON NEW YORK’S SAMANA SALT SPA HAS BEEN APPOINTED EDUCATIONAL DIRECTOR BY THE INTERNATIONAL SALT THERAPY ASSOCIATION

Cheryl Krouse, is a Health and Wellness Educator who has a BS in Health Science, Physical Education, and Exercise Physiology, an MS in Health & Human Performance (Specialization in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation), and is a Licensed Massage Therapist, and Registered Yoga Teacher. Cheryl will be assisting the Salt Therapy Association in creating and rolling out their Certified Halotherapist program. Recently Cheryl Krouse and co-owner Jim Fittante were both featured speakers at the STAcon (Salt Therapy Association) Live 2019 industry event held in Orlando, FL.

Jim Fittante also owner of Fittante Architecture PC also consults on design of Salt Therapy facilities internationally and uses cutting edge design and research ideas at Samana Salt Spa in Lewiston. Through research and industry-leading and patent pending salt distribution technologies employed at their local WNY facility, developed by her and her business partner, architect Jim Fittante, Ms. Krouse has created educational programs which will become valuable tools that will be utilized by the industry and STA members moving forward in this fast growing health movement based on its documented health benefits.

Salt Therapy Association (salttherapyassociation.com) - The Salt Therapy Association (STA) was founded in 2014 to provide resources, information, research and standards to support, promote and create awareness about salt therapy (halotherapy) for the industry, businesses, and consumers. Used for centuries for healing and wellness benefits, salt therapy has recently enjoyed a worldwide surge in popularity among spas and wellness centers. Owners Cheryl Krouse and Jim Fittante had training classes in Wieliczka Salt Mine in Wieliczka, Poland. Samana Salt Spa is creating working on cutting edge technologies in the Salt therapy and wellness industry.

Samana Salt Spa offers:
Salt Therapy Halotherapy (Dry Salt Therapy). Dry salt therapy, or halotherapy, is a holistic, drug free, natural therapy using micro particles of salt to promote better breathing, healthier skin, sounder sleep, improved physical fitness and endurance and overall wellness.
One large salt room (up to 14 people) and recently added Salt Suite (2 People)

Massage Therapy (3 rooms) –Swedish, Therapeutic, couples massage, Hot Salt Stone, Reiki, facials, salt scrubs and much more.

Wellness training, cooperate events and parties in our Wellness center. (seats up to 40 people)
