The annual Lewiston Christmas Walk weekend hosted by the Upward Niagara Chamber of Commerce, will take place December 6th through December 8th in the historic Village of Lewiston. Center Street is full of holiday spirit! Many of the storefronts will offer special activities, treats, promotions and great shopping sales (hours will vary).

Horse Drawn Carriage Ride
Enjoy the charm of the historic village on a free horse drawn carriage ride on Center Street! Saturday & Sunday from Noon – 3pm. Pick up and drop off is in front of Northwest Bank (500 Center Street). Sponsored by Great Lakes Real Estate
Send your Letter to Santa
Get your letters written and delivered to Santa, right here in Lewiston! The red regulation sized mailbox on Center St. will deliver your letter directly to the North Pole! The mailbox can be found outside of Apple Granny Restaurant (433 Center St). Any letters addressed to Santa that are placed in the box by December 17th will receive a response before Christmas! This is not a U.S. Postal Service mailbox. Letters will go to the North Pole only! All letters must be “mailed” by December 19th to receive a response back from Santa!

Saturday, Dec 7 - Santa and Elves arrive!
Santa and Elves arrive with Skydive the Falls at Academy Park at 11:15AM (weather permitting) and Santa’s arrival by Helicopter provided by Rainbow Air at 11:30AM (weather permitting). Follow Santa for his promenade down Center Street after his arrival at Academy Park where he will greet children in the Peace Garden from Noon – 4PM. Activities in Village through 4PM. Free Carriage rides from Noon –3PM. Petting Zoo at Hennepin Park from Noon – 4PM.

The Lewiston Christmas Lights Parade begins at 5:30PM on Center Street! Parade route is Academy Park to 4th Street. Please note: Center Street closes at 3:30PM for parade preparations!

Old Fort Niagara assumes a particularly festive air during the holiday season. Special activities kick off as the Fort presents The Castle by Candlelight, a tour of the Great Lakes oldest building illuminated entirely by candles. Admission is $25/person in advance and $30 at the door. Advance tickets available at www.oldfortniagara.org. General admission tickets are not valid for this event.
