Bus Tour to Genesee Country Village & Museum

The Historical Association of Lewiston is sponsoring a day-long bus tour to the largest “working” museum in New York State. On this trip you will visit a variety of 18th and 19th century buildings with period dressed docents explaining and showing how they lived, worked and played during the era when western New York was first being settled.

The tour will leave Lewiston at 8:00 AM via motor coach and travel directly to the Genesee Country Village in Mumford, NY. Upon arrival, a trolley tour of the Village will orient you to the many activities and sites you may visit on your own along with a guide to answer all of your questions. You will have time
to explore the 20-acre site and participate in activities designed to tell the stories of life in early New York.

At mid-day our group will gather together to share an 18th century themed luncheon. After lunch the afternoon will be open for you to roam the entire site, including the pioneer settlement, the gas light district, the Civil War camp and nature center. The motor coach will depart for Lewiston at 4:00 PM.

Tickets for the entire day are $95 per person, which includes motor coach transportation from Lewiston, tour, lunch and day long activities and learning experiences. To reserve your seat and for more information, call the Lewiston Museum @ 716.754.4214
