Rainy days will bring the spring flowers soon! April 1st is TOMORROW already! March flew by! This week we upgraded our member Great Lakes Real Estate to the Growth level of the membership. It was great to sit with Bruce and talk about his business needs. We came up with a membership tier that would work with his business to give him the most value for his real estate needs.
This is what we have been up to:
~Today is the last day for COME & PLAY calendar ad reservations as well as the Lewiston Map ad reservation.
~We met with the Youngstown Garden Club and gave them some ideas on publicity, sponsorship and other advice on an upcoming event they are planning in December!
~Great Lakes Real Estate upgraded their membership. We caught up with Bruce!
~Our community app had a session for training. We can't wait to show you it in May!
~We met with Janet Hoffman with Celebrate Wilson on an upcoming JUNE event - the LEON Festival! It's Noel spelled backwards! A holiday inspired festival in Wilson, NY on June 17th, halfway to Christmas!
~Jim Gardner from the Lewiston Jazz Festival board of directors met with us to go over the Lewiston Jazz Festival website and how we can make improvements to cater to visitors and first time attendees.
~We met with Michael Hibbard and his manager Jeremy at Gather to plan for the upcoming Business Blender on April 20th!
~We have a new member - Michael Ragusa, who we met in our office and signed on as a Leader Member! We are excited to work with Michael and offering our members opportunity for life insurance options.
~We stopped by the Center of Economic Development to drop off the Community Enhancement Grant paperwork for the Chamber and also for the Sanborn Business Association. While there, we stopped in to say hello to Kory from the Niagara USA Chamber.
~We had a great seminar with ACCE (Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives) on how to work with different size boards. It was a great seminar and Dotty Gallagher, CEO of the Buffalo Niagara Partnership was on the panel! Always great to see familiar faces featured!
~Jennifer is preparing for her first Workforce Leadership Academy retreat at Holiday Valley. She will be out of the office Monday through Wednesday to become immersed in learning.
~Suzanne and Jennifer met with John Brundo from WNY Proforma to order some great promotional items with our new logo and chamber name on it! Look for an update on this half a year process in May!
Have a great weekend!
