Spice Harbor

Spice Harbor has been serving the highest quality spices, herbs, and specialty mixes (nearly all just need water to prepare) and gift items at “The Little Yellow House” in Lewiston since 2016.  Village resident and owner Kristen Brolinski creates each mix and spice package by hand.  Hundreds of items stock the shelves including gifts, snacks & candies, baking extracts and even essential oils.  The building is located between the historic Frontier House and Peace Garden and is the oldest building in the Village of Lewiston.

Spice Harbor has new items to feature this holiday shopping season.  Homemade fudge is available in a variety of flavors!  New selections of soups, rice, scones and dips have been stocked.  The Amish supply Spice Harbor with already popped popcorn in seasonal flavors packaged in sizes perfect for snacking or gift giving.  There are always samples prepared and ready to try!

Small Business Saturday has always been important to Spice Harbor and a fun way to start the holiday shopping season.  Special promotions and tastings are offered to customers on that day as a “Thank You” for supporting small business.  Kristen looks forward to seeing her regular customers as well as new faces.  The day always seems to bring out people who genuinely want small businesses to succeed in their community.   Participation in the business group and Chamber has elevated Small Business Saturday to an event that businesses depend on to help start the shopping season. By supporting a small business 67 cents of every $1.00 stays in the community. 

Kristen is in her store everyday getting to know customers.  She enjoys finding out where they are from, and letting them know information on the Village of Lewiston.  You can often find her referring other businesses to those shopping in her store.   On November 30th, enter to win a $100 Gas Grill package - a portable tabletop grill (legs fold up & top locks in place), as well as four award winning Spice Harbor rubs, included in the package!  Must be willing to pick up - will not ship.  Enjoy mulled cider & samples throughout the day!  Open from 10am - 9pm on Small Business Saturday!
