Niagara Gospel Mission is committed to making a difference in the City of Niagara Falls, New York, and surrounding communities by meeting the spiritual and practical needs of homeless and hurting men to find help and the support they need to change their lives. They work to glorify God by sharing the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ, while caring for the needs of our community through his unconditional love, mercy, and grace.

John Cooper Jr.  is the Executive Director of the Niagara Gospel Mission. John is a Wheatfield native and his family has been in Niagara Falls since 1790. John has ministry experience with preaching and homelessness in Niagara Falls, Watertown, Hawaii, and Afghanistan. John served 6 years as a Sniper in the U.S. Army and one combat tour to Afghanistan. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from Clarks Summit University and is pursuing his MDIV at Liberty University. He and his wife Elizabeth live in Niagara Falls NY with their three children John Wayne, Michael, and Samuel. They are also expecting another boy in August.

Outside of John's work, school, and family life, he enjoys helping fellow veterans in any way he can and Jiu Jitsu. He also has authored his first book which is currently being published.
